The first training course on PM4ESD™ in 2013 in Europe took place successfully between 25th and 27th of February in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Évora (Alentejo, Portugal). Fifteen training course delegates participated actively during three intensive daily sessions. They took the opportunity to acquire knowledge on sustainable project management focused on sustainable tourism.
The trainers were Mrs. Silvia Barbone, founder and the director of “FEST” (Foundation for European Sustainable Tourism) and Mr. Xavier Font, co-director of the International Centre for Responsible Tourism at Leeds Metropolitan University.
The participants took an examen to get the PM4ESD™ Foundation Qualification the last day, and they will receive the exam’s result in the coming weeks.
