The 7th edition of the European Social Tourism Forum, organised by ISTO, the International Social Tourism Organisation, will take place in Blankenberge, Belgium, from the 1st to the 3rd of October, under the theme: “Social Tourism: what future in Europe?”
The Forum will be a place for debates, discussions and reflections on what can be the role of social tourism in a time where all attentions are pointed at the economic crisis.
But this year’s event has a special meaning: ISTO celebrates its 50th anniversary, marking “half a century of commitment of our organisation and in favour of social tourism and access to holidays for everyone”, in the President Jean Marc Mignon words. The celebration of ISTO anniversary will be held at the European Parliament in Brussels, on the 4th of October, following the three day Forum.
