“Health Tourism” is the new for project developped to put in transparency and recognise across Europe the learning outcomes and the qualifications of the professional figures in the health tourism sector. The project is an ECVET (European credit for vocational education and training) created by a project partnership (http://www.ecvet-healthtourism.eu).
The main aim of Health Tourism is to define and validate health tourism professionals competences through a system of credits recognised at first within the partnership countries (Belgium, Hungary, Italy, Romania and Slovak Republic) and eventually at EU level. The project partnership identified three relevant professions in the health tourism sector:
- Health-tourism manager;
- Fitness-wellness assistant.
The Health Tourism project and Diesis are currently inviting interested bodies to become participant organization, to sign the Memorandum of Understanding and to disseminate the initiative to multiply the impact. The signature of the MoU does not imply any kind of financial or operational contribution, it is only meant to build a community of awareness and interest around our mobility initiative.
Sign the Memorandum of Understanding.
