The European Commission is organising a High-Level Conference “Attracting investment in Tourism”: Financing, upgrading skills and improving business environment to strengthen the competitiveness of the EU tourism industry.
Key note speakers will include: Elżbieta Bieńkowska, Commissioner for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, Members of the European Parliament, Ministers, Presidents of the Regions.
The event will focus on two priority subjects:
- How to improve the business environment to attract more investment and to better use the EU funds to boost the competitiveness of the sector
- Raising awareness about the investment needs in the area of tourism workers’ skills and mobility
